We organized book fair (rent) in the beginning of last session for MBA students.

Bagmati Safai Maha Abhiyan

We contributed our labor to this event and we were appreciated by the organizers and interviewed by NTV plus which will telecast on Friday 18th July, 2014 at 8:45 pm and by different other media.

After the main event we joined in the dance program of Bagamti safai maha abhiyan and were encouraged to join hands with hands with the organizing committee in respective programs.

Glimpse of Management Game

Fish market game reflects the market working system that enable the participants to learn the behavior of market and how to make strategy that would lead them to win the game. There were eight groups in each there were three members respectively CEO (Chief Executive Officer), CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) and CTO (Chief Technical Officer). Each have to play vital role in the game and come up with the strategy from which they can win the game.

The winner of the game were from 4th trimester and they are Bindu Sharma, Jyoti Syangdan and Smriti Bajracharya respectively CTO, CEO and CMO. Second were from 3rd trimester and they are Rabindra Maharjan, Bibhusan K.C., and Rina Joshi. And third were from 1st trimester and they are Shishir Shrestha, Saroj Bhusal and Sujan Neupane.

WORKING COMITTEE MEMBERS: ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


1.      Coordinator
She/he will be the authorized person to delegate the authority, monitor the overall activities and should be responsible for the planning, proposals preparation and executing with involving along with the team. She/he is one of the supervisor along with the advisory team and faculty members. Should be act as the representative of club to the college management, all students and external parties. She/he is responsible to lead the overall activities and direction of club in achieving the objectives.

- Planning, proposals preparation and execution coordinator
- Supervision of overall activities of the club
- Contact with college management, all students and external parties
- Monitoring and delegating

2.      Sub-coordinator
As explained the responsibility of coordinator sub-coordinator will the acting coordinator in absence of the coordinator and while the presence of coordinator she/he will be assisting the coordinator.

3.      Public Relation (PR) Person
She/he is the authorized person of the club to convey the official information to outsiders and responsible for the communicating with stakeholders regarding club activities. She/he is also responsible for coordinating and communicating with trainers, potential trainers, speakers and guests.

Responsibility in brief
- Responsible for official communication from the club
- Making and circulation of reports to all stakeholders regarding club activities
- Coordination with college regarding collaborative newsletter
- Discussion forum coordination
- Coordination regarding external trainings planning and communication with potential trainers

4.      Secretary
She/he will be authorized person to call the meeting of working committee, the general meeting and emergency meeting. The core responsibility will be the documentation of meeting and minuting and convey the authorized information to the members. She/he will be responsible for the regular contact with members and will be act as the coordinator for all programs at execution level.

- Program scheduling & overall coordination at execution level of all programs

5.      Joint-Secretary
As explained the responsibility of secretary, joint-secretary will act as secretary in absence of secretary and while the presence of secretary she/he will be assisting the secretary.

- Assist Secretary
- Acting secretary in absence of Secretary

6.      Treasurer
She/he will be authorized as the planner and delegator of the funds for the club’s activities, responsible for the utilization and acquisition of the funds. She/he should be reporting the monetary activities to the coordinator and club.

- Planning, Acquisition, Utilization and control of all types of club funds

7.      Joint-Treasurer
As explained the responsibility of treasurer, joint-treasurer will be act as the treasurer in absence of treasurer and while the presence of treasurer she/he will be assisting the treasurer.

- Act as treasurer in absence of treasurer 

8.      Committee Members
She/he participates in all club’s activities and responsible to give continuous effort in all programs organized by the club and those of which club is directly and indirectly involved.

                                                                                                                            Overview of SAIM ENTREPRENEURSHIP CLUB


                                                                                                                            A) INTRODUCTION

                                                                                                                            SAIM Entrepreneurship Club's main aim is to provide a forum for students to network and share ideas, provide an environment that will foster innovation and entrepreneurship and help students cultivate and develop their own ideas. The learning experience in this club will be helpful in establishing their own new venture.

                                                                                                                            Club has main motto of sparking the zeal for new, creative and innovative business ideas within the heart and mind of students. Club will also play a major role to make them aware of several steps to be followed in commercialization of their ideas; via entrepreneurship.

                                                                                                                            This club will be focusing on MBA students from SAIM. Club also encourages all students other than MBA from SAIM itself and also welcomes other students from different colleges to participate in the forum.
